The Turning Point..

.:السلام عليكم:.

The days during my status as a matrix student had over. I went to my hometown and enjoyed my holidays while waiting for my PSPM result. I filled up my holidays with chatting, exploring the net and learnt more about computer program (with the help of YouTube). After 3 months waiting, finally I received a call that night from my roommate who told me that the result from our one-year matriculation program would be out next morning. I felt that my adrenalin was secreted most that nite(kah3). I solicited my friend to check my result that morning (I was actually already 5 weeks charged into HSNZ due to my ABG operation). My result was okay and thanked to Allah who had gave the chances to further my study at tertiary level. The next thing I had to do was to settle my university application forms. Alhamdulillah, when the UPU result was proclaimed, I was offered biomedical engineering (prosthetic and orthotic) at Malaya University (UM) which is the oldest and best university in Malaysia.

I was astounded as UM had shortlisted my name as their students. Nevertheless, the course that I got sounds quite eerie. I had no idea what is prosthetic and orthotic. That nite,I search the web to find out more regarding my course and UM. Unpredictably, the course was more about engineering rather than medical itself. It’s about fabricated artificial arms and legs. As I realized, the course was not me at all. Only God knew how depressed I am that time. It was like no way out because I dun no where to go.

It is more to mechanical engineering than medical itself rite?!

Thanks to science and technology who had ease and help those indeed

Ahaks, the next morning my friend called and asked me if I had already went to YT and filled up the forms to study overseas for matriculation students under YT scholarships. I was bolted from the blue and gladded that there is other path for me to take. That noon, I went to YT and filled up the forms. There are only 2 courses offered; medicine and dentistry. Erm..i dun want to be a doctor actually. It’s more about my family choice. The interview was quite complicates eventhough it is not fully – scholarship. We had to take up IQ test and the interview went well. When the result was announced, I got the scholarships. My relief that time was indescribable. Unfortunately, my friend did not make it. I felt sorry for him but I know that he is a bright student and will always perform in his study which is civil engineering at UTM. Thanks to him, Azri Hizami who showed me that there will be always another ways to succeed people are good and special in their own way.
